PRP therapy was first developed, used and validated for orthopaedic surgery more than thirty years ago.   In this completely natural treatment, the patient’s own blood is drawn and treated. Then the platelet-rich plasma is injected into the strategic areas to encourage skin healing and renewal. The increase in collagen and growth factors creates a more youthful, plumper, and firmer appearing skin. PRP can be used to treat: - The face (Vampire Face Lift), especially around the eyes, mouth and nose - The back of the hands - The neck Scars, including surgical scars and acne scars - Stretch marks - Hair loss (men and women)     Recovery after PRP therapy: - PRP therapy requires little recovery time. There may infrequently be some bruising, redness or tenderness on the first day.
